Turnips are Iceland’s main staple food and is an important ingredient in various classic dishes in the Nordic cuisine. Classic, Icelandic yellow turnips are a great winter vegetable for us and they contain more vitamin C than oranges ! For this product we use a more modern approach to fermentation as we use citrus which gives it a pungent flavor and at the same time reduces the level of salt somewhat. This colorful, natural probiotic is suitable as a refreshing accompaniment or topping with different foods. Try it on salads or with sushi. This product has not been sterilized or pasteurized and should be stored in a refrigerator at 0-4°C.
